Dozens of ‘big players’ on the stock exchange terminate contracts with an industrial park: What is about to happen?

The Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park in Dong Nai, home to many large enterprises like Bien Hoa Packaging Joint Stock Company (Sovi), Bibica Joint Stock Company, and Vietnam Electrical Cable Joint Stock Company (Cadivi), is undergoing relocation due to restructuring decisions from the provincial People’s Committee. These factories must close and move to a new industrial park by August 1, 2025. We have received a notification about Sonadezi Corporation’s termination of infrastructure services, requesting businesses to complete contract termination procedures by July 15, 2025. Established in 1963, Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park has become a pollution hotspot. The decision to convert it into an urban – commercial – service area was approved in 2021, paving the way for this project’s implementation.
