Meta to Invest Hundreds of Billions in AI superclusters

Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, announced an ambitious investment of hundreds of billions of US dollars to build Titan-sized AI superclusters, enhancing the company’s infrastructure to support artificial intelligence. Prometheus, the first cluster, is expected to commence operations next year.

As part of this strategy, Meta aims to attract elite AI talent from competitors by offering competitive salaries and bonuses. This initiative aligns with a broader shift in the tech industry, as companies like Microsoft also ramp up AI-related investments to stay competitive.
