As of July 18, 2025, Vietnam’s stock market has a capitalization of 8.3 million billion VND, with 29% (equivalent to 2.4 million billion VND) held by 8 private equity clans: Vingroup, Masan Group, FPT, GELEX, T&T Group, Sovico Group, Hoang Huy, and DNP – Tasco. Vingroup is the largest with a capitalization of 1.11 million billion VND, accounting for 13% of the market. This ecosystem has grown 186% in the last 6 months, driven by the performance of VIC (up 193%) and VHM (up 140%). Other clans also saw impressive growth, such as Hoang Huy (86%) and GELEX (83%), despite some stocks being delisted. T&T Group reached over 81.000 billion VND with a 69% increase, while FPT and Masan Group stood at 309.000 billion and 540.000 billion VND respectively, with Masan rising 74% mainly due to TCB.
