As of July 18, 2025, the capitalization of the Vietnamese stock market reached nearly 8.3 trillion VND, with 8 private ‘clans’ of stocks accounting for 29%, equivalent to 2.4 trillion VND. Major companies include Vingroup, Masan Group, FPT, GELEX, T&T Group, Sovico Group, Hoang Huy, and DNP – Tasco. Vingroup leads with 1.11 trillion VND, making up 45% of the group’s total value and 13% of the entire market. Capitalization has surged significantly in the past 6 months, with VIC (Vingroup) increasing by 193% and VHM (Vinhomes) by 140%. The Hoang Huy and GELEX clans also saw impressive growth at 86% and 83%, respectively. The T&T Group rose 69%, mainly due to SHB and SHS. The FPT and Masan clans have large capitalizations of 309 trillion and 540 trillion VND, with Masan up 74% thanks to strong performance from TCB. Despite several GELEX stocks delisting recently, the market shows strong growth potential.
