On July 18, 2025, Vietnam’s stock market recorded a capitalization of nearly 8.3 quadrillion VND, with 8 ‘clans’ of stocks holding 2.4 quadrillion VND, accounting for 29% of the total value. This group includes Vingroup, Masan Group, FPT, GELEX, T&T Group, Sovico Group, Hoàng Huy, and DNP – Tasco. Vingroup holds 1.11 quadrillion VND, equivalent to 13% of the market. The group’s capitalization has grown by 186% in the first half of the year, mainly driven by VIC and VHM. Other clans like Hoàng Huy and GELEX saw 86% and 83% growth respectively, although GELEX reduced its members due to delisting. T&T Group increased by 69%, but only two main stocks saw significant gains. FPT and Masan Group have hundreds of trillion VND in capitalization, yet FPT fell by 9% while Masan rose by 74%.
