As of July 18, 2025, the total market capitalization of Vietnam’s stock market reached nearly 8.3 trillion VND, with 29% (2.4 trillion) belonging to 8 major private groups including Vingroup, Masan Group, FPT, GELEX, T&T Group, Sovico Group, Hoàng Huy and DNP-Tasco. Vingroup leads with 1.11 trillion VND, accounting for 45% of this group and 13% of the total market, driven by strong growth in stocks like VHM and VIC. Other groups like Hoàng Huy and GELEX also reported impressive growth, but mostly from a few major stocks within the group. Although T&T has notable increases, the overall value remains modest. FPT and Masan have hundreds of trillion VND in market capitalization, with FPT experiencing a decline compared to the start of the year, while Masan saw significant growth mainly due to TCB.
