Masan Group reports profit in H1 2025 up over 80% despite ‘diamond’ Masan Consumer decline and booming pork segment

CTCP Masan Group (HOSE: MSN) has announced its unaudited financial report for Q2 2025 and the first half of 2025, showing a net profit of 1.619 trillion VND in Q2, an increase of over 80% year-on-year, surpassing 50% of its annual plan. The growth is mainly driven by contributions from WinCommerce and Masan MEATLife, despite the decline of Masan Consumer due to disruptions in traditional sales channels.

WinCommerce reported revenue of 9.130 trillion VND, with a profit of 10 billion VND, maintaining profitability for the fourth consecutive quarter, totaling 17.915 trillion VND in the first half. Masan Consumer achieved revenue of 6.276 trillion VND, down 15.1% due to reduced inventory and cautious retail operations.

Masan MEATLife reported revenue of 2.340 trillion VND, growing 30.7% thanks to high pork prices and growth in processed meat. Phuc Long Heritage, with 434 billion VND in revenue, also saw a 10.8% increase.

Masan expects a consolidated revenue of 80 to 85.5 trillion VND in 2025, while NPAT Pre-MI is projected to reach 4.875 to 6.5 trillion VND.
