On July 28, the VN-Index reached an all-time high, increasing by over 26 points to 1,557.42, due to the rise of many stocks. In this context, the wealth of Gen Z investors surged. Notably, three Gen Z shareholders of Techcombank, the children of Chairman Ho Hung Anh, include Ho Anh Minh and Ho Thuy Anh, each holding 344 million TCB shares, with a value exceeding 12 trillion VND, while Ho Minh Anh holds 144 million shares worth over 5.126 trillion VND. Tran Vu Minh, son of Steel Hoa Phat’s chairman, also controls 176 million HPG shares valued at over 4.637 trillion VND. Nguyen Duc Anh, Chairman of DSC, owns nearly 73 million DSC shares, bringing his total wealth to about 2.645 trillion VND. The market also recorded a trading volume high with matched value reaching 44.3 trillion VND.
