FPT Retail (FRT) Raises Nearly 900 Billion from Selling Shares of Long Chau Chain, Revealing Valuation

FPT Retail (FRT) reported Q2 2025 revenue of 11.39 trillion VND, up 23% year-on-year, with net profit after tax of 157 billion VND, up 225%. Total revenue for the first half reached 23.06 trillion VND, up 26%, and pre-tax profit of 479 billion VND, up 199%. FRT aims for consolidated revenue of 48.1 trillion VND for 2025, achieving 48% of its plan in the first half. As of June 30, 2025, total assets amounted to 18.327 trillion VND, with liabilities of 14.95 trillion VND. Notably, the company raised 887 billion VND from issuing shares of the Long Chau chain to Creador, valuing it at approximately 32.4 trillion VND. FPT now holds 78.59% of Long Chau. Creador aims to acquire 13% of the shares, supporting Long Chau’s business expansion. So far, Long Chau has opened 300 new pharmacies, totaling 2,191 pharmacies and 178 vaccination centers, contributing 70% of FRT’s revenue.
