Ms. La My Hoang purchased 8.65 million LDG shares, increasing her ownership to 3.646%. She spent about 50 billion VND on this transaction. Before the purchase, she held 670,000 shares, along with her sister, Ms. La My Phuong, they collectively own over 19 million shares, becoming major shareholders in LDG. LDG’s stock soared nearly 180% in a month, reaching a peak of 7,050 VND/share after many days of hitting the ceiling. However, since mid-July, the stock has corrected down to 5,500 VND/share. LDG reported losses for two consecutive years but recorded strong revenue growth of over 77 billion VND in the first quarter of 2025, with a pre-tax profit of 12 billion VND. Ms. La My Phuong, who operates 4 Oranges, one of the leading paint companies in Vietnam, is known for her high investment style.
