Vietnam’s Largest Container Shipping Company Reports 3x Profit in Q2 2025, Hitting Profit Peak

Hải An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (HAH) reported Q2 2025 revenue of nearly 1.275 trillion VND, a 34.35% increase year-on-year, with post-tax profit exceeding 414 billion VND, up 227%. This marks the highest quarterly profit since 2014. The strong growth is attributed to the operation of three new ships and a significant increase in shipping volume and freight rates. HAH, owning the largest container fleet in Vietnam with 17 vessels, accounts for nearly 70% of the country’s total shipping capacity. In the first six months of 2025, HAH achieved 2.443 trillion VND in revenue, a 32% rise year-on-year, and post-tax profit of 687 billion VND, a 291% increase. The company has completed 53.63% of its revenue target and 79% of its profit target for 2025. HAH’s stock closed at 75,000 VND on July 31.
