In 2024, CafeF announced the PRIVATE 100 and VNTAX 200 lists to honor companies contributing the most to Vietnam’s budget. PRIVATE 100 includes private firms contributing over 100 billion VND, while VNTAX 200 gathers all companies with contributions over 200 billion VND. The Top 20 private real estate companies contributed over 63.2 trillion VND to the budget in 2024, with 13 firms contributing over 1 trillion VND, a 60% increase from the previous year. Vinhomes topped the list with 40.142 trillion VND, reflecting strong growth from large projects. Notable companies like Nam Long, BIM Group, and DOJILAND also made significant contributions. Revenue from real estate plays a crucial role in local budgets, especially in Hanoi, with land revenue reaching 54 trillion VND. It is anticipated that revenues will continue to rise in 2025 as many large projects are completed.
