Assets of the 20 Richest People on the Vietnamese Stock Exchange: Vietjet Chairman Gains 700 Billion in One Week, 3 Family Members of VPBank Chairman Increase the Most

As of August 1st, the total assets of the 20 richest people on the Vietnamese stock exchange reached 551.2 trillion VND, a decrease of 32.1 trillion VND compared to July 25th. Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup, remains at the top with 233.5 trillion VND, although he decreased by 22.7 trillion VND (9%) in just one week. Mr. Tran Dinh Long, Chairman of Hoa Phat, holds second place with 49.8 trillion VND, a slight decrease of 1.8 trillion but still an 11% increase since the beginning of the year. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairman of Vietjet Air, recorded a remarkable 34% increase in assets in the past month, reaching 27.6 trillion VND, increasing by 700 billion in a week. Family members related to VPBank saw their assets increase by 39% this month, each with 8.4 trillion VND. Other familiar figures in the top 20 include Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang (Masan Group), Mr. Do Anh Tuan (Sunshine Group), Mr. Ho Hung Anh (Techcombank), and Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai (The Gioi Di Dong).
