CEO of Van Phu to Acquire VPI Shares from In-Laws?

Pham Hong Chau, CEO of Van Phu Real Estate Development JSC (VPI), has registered to purchase 400,000 shares from August 12 to September 10, increasing his holdings from 0.424% to 0.549%. Concurrently, his in-laws, Nguyen Thi Lan and Ngo Khac Nghia, each plan to sell 200,000 shares. If the transactions succeed, Lan’s holdings will decrease to 246,700 shares (0.077%), and Nghia’s to 48,200 shares (0.015%). Chau, aged 52, was appointed CEO on June 6, 2025, and previously served as Deputy CEO and Board Member since 2017. In business performance, Van Phu reported 180 billion VND in revenue for Q2 2025, a 9% increase year-on-year, with a net profit of nearly 6.7 billion VND, down 75%. In the first half of 2025, the company achieved 429 billion VND in revenue, up 46%, and a net profit after tax of nearly 149 billion VND, up 56%. Total assets reached over 13,138 billion VND, an 18% increase, while total liabilities hit 7,918 billion VND, a 31% rise.
