Record Profits, GELEX Electric (GEE) Sets Date for Over 1 Trillion VND Cash Dividend at 30%

GELEX Electric Corporation (GEE) has just approved the first cash dividend plan for 2025 at a rate of 30%, equivalent to 3,000 VND per share. The cutoff date for shareholder rights is August 21, 2025, with payment expected on September 10, 2025. With 366 million outstanding shares, GELEX will pay out over 1 trillion VND in dividends, of which the largest shareholder GEX will receive nearly 900 billion VND. GELEX Electric reported nearly 11.8 trillion VND in revenue and 1.053 trillion VND in profit for the first six months of 2025, up 31% and 62% year-on-year, respectively. To reflect these positive results, the company will propose a new business plan for 2025 with a revenue target of 23.794 trillion VND and double profit before tax at over 3.5 trillion VND, while also aiming to increase the dividend payout to 60%.
