Masan Group’s MSN shares, led by billionaire Nguyen Dang Quang, surged to the ceiling price of 82,000 VND/share during trading on August 11. With nearly 16 million shares traded, Quang’s wealth grew to 1.2 billion USD, reflecting a 75 million USD increase. He holds a 31.19% stake in Masan Group, along with shares in Techcombank and Masan Consumer Holdings. For Q2 2025, Masan reported revenue of 18,315 billion VND and a net profit of 1,619 billion VND, an over 80% year-on-year increase, primarily driven by WinCommerce and Masan MEATLife. However, Masan Consumer faced challenges due to regulatory changes impacting traditional retail channels.
