Bitcoin, Ethereum rise as US inflation cools to 2.7% in July

The U.S. Consumer Price Index reported a year-on-year increase of 2.7% in July, slightly below expectations of 2.8%. Meanwhile, the core CPI rose 3.1%, reflecting ongoing price pressures that could influence future interest rate decisions.

Following the inflation release, Bitcoin’s price rose to 118,000 USD, despite a daily decrease of 1.1%. Ethereum saw a gain of 3.2%, reaching 4,300 USD, while Solana experienced a 1.7% drop to 176 USD.
