Illegal Bitcoin mining on the rise in Tajikistan and Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is also tackling illegal crypto mining, with substantial energy theft leading to millions in losses. Experts believe the region’s low operational costs and lax regulations attract miners from countries like China and Russia.
