Guizhou Duyun Public Security Bureau practices virtual currency storage involved in the case: frozen and then seized in cold wallets for physical isolation

Following China’s virtual currency transaction ban, Guizhou police have frozen and seized these currencies from criminal cases. The approach utilized cold wallets, ensuring physical isolation of the assets pending court rulings.

The Duyun City Property Management Center has managed over 24,753 items and 20.4955 million yuan since its establishment in November 2022, aiming to reform property management and improve virtual currency storage solutions.
