Qubic community, Monero’s 51% attacker, votes to target Dogecoin next

The blockchain project Qubic has targeted Dogecoin after successfully executing a 51% attack on Monero, accumulating significant control over Monero’s network. Sergey Ivancheglo announced that Dogecoin, which garnered over 300 votes, will be the next focus, overshadowing Zcash and Kaspa.

This decision has raised alarms about the security of proof-of-work systems. In response, the Kraken exchange temporarily suspended Monero deposits due to concerns surrounding the integrity of the network.
