The Vietnamese stock market is at its peak with the VN-Index above 1,600 points and liquidity in the billions of USD. Notably, 6 securities companies with a market capitalization over 1 billion USD include SSI, VIX, VND, VCI, HCM, and MBS. VIX has increased 2.7 times since July, joining the billion-dollar club alongside MBS. Most of these large-cap stocks are at all-time highs. A significant event is Techcom Securities (TCBS) preparing for an IPO, estimated to achieve a valuation of 3.7 billion USD, potentially boosting the valuation of other securities companies. The prospect of Vietnam being upgraded to type 2 emerging market by FTSE Russell also opens opportunities for foreign capital to flow into the stock market, enhancing growth for this stock group.
