The Vingroup conglomerate has been awarded the First Class Labor Medal for the National Exhibition and Convention Center, a facility ranked among the top 10 largest in the world, spanning 900,000 m2. The project commenced on August 30, 2024, and the land will be handed over by June 27, 2025, finishing 15 months ahead of schedule. Mobilizing around 3,000 workers and 800-1,000 machines, the construction operated round the clock, 24/7. With rigorous quality and safety checks, the center features the Kim Quy exhibition hall, the largest circular exhibition space globally, designed uniquely with a 24,000-ton dome. This venue aims to be an international destination for major events, contributing to turning Hanoi into a leading hub for conferences and exhibitions.
