CafeF announced the VNTAX 200 list – Top 200 largest taxpayers in Vietnam for 2025 based on actual payments in 2024. The total tax contribution of these 200 companies reached 794 trillion VND, up 109 trillion VND from last year. Notably, Vingroup’s contribution surged to 56.2 trillion VND, placing it second after PetroVietnam, which contributed 77.4 trillion VND. The list highlights the significant contributions from state-owned and FDI enterprises, while the private sector has only 36 representatives in the Top 100 largest companies. The Top 10 includes 4 state-owned groups and 4 FDI enterprises, alongside Vingroup and THACO. Banks like Agribank and prominent firms such as AIA and VNG Group are increasing their tax payments. The real estate sector, where private enterprises contribute more, remains a bright spot compared to state and FDI.
