Tether has updated its plan for older blockchains like Omni Layer, Kusama, and Algorand. Despite previous announcements, smart contracts on these networks will remain active, allowing token transfers between wallets.

Effective September 1, 2025, Tether will stop issuing and redeeming USDT tokens on older blockchains, focusing on maintaining a transparent transition in collaboration with user communities.
