Reth client vulnerability disrupts some Ethereum nodes

On September 3, Paradigm CTO Georgios Konstantopoulos reported a Reth client vulnerability causing outages at block 2,327,426, affecting versions 1.6.0 and 1.4.8 on the ETH network.

Paradigm shared recovery steps on GitHub and is investigating. Reth accounts for 5.4% of Ethereum execution clients, limiting impact, though some nodes could not validate blocks or stay synchronized.
