The financial report for the first half of 2025 of Vingroup (HoSE: VIC) revealed that the education sector, which includes Vinschool, VinUni, and Brighton, generated a net revenue of 3,204 billion VND, an increase of nearly 14% compared to the same period last year. This revenue is higher than that of the healthcare sector (2,571 billion VND) but lower than other sectors such as real estate and tourism. The cost of goods sold and services in the education sector was 2,464 billion VND, higher than in 2024. The education sector also achieved a net income before tax of 351 billion VND. Vinschool had an undistributed profit of 2,451 billion VND, but under social enterprise regulations, it cannot distribute profits to owners and is committed to reinvesting profits. Vinschool benefits from a 10% corporate income tax for socialized education activities. As of June 30, 2025, Vingroup holds 100% voting rights and 61.43% economic benefits in Vinschool.
