VNG’s First Half of 2025: Strong Profit Growth, Revenue Exceeds 4,800 Billion

In the first half of 2025, VNG recorded impressive growth with revenue exceeding 4,800 billion VND. The gaming sector was the main contributor, achieving bookings of 3,592 billion VND, of which 656 billion came from international markets. Notable products like Lineage 2M and PUBG reflected strong development. Zalopay also saw a 63% growth in transaction volume, with its Multidimensional QR code feature increasing fivefold compared to the previous year. Zalo remains the leading communication app in Vietnam with 78.3 million monthly users and has integrated AI features, resulting in a 168% growth in users of value-added services. The GreenNode sector achieved significant progress with a large Vietnamese language model on NVIDIA AI platform. VNG paid 1,588 billion VND in taxes, ranking among the top 29 private enterprises for tax contributions, and was recognized as a great workplace with 89% employee satisfaction. The corporation continues to maintain sustainable development standards, featuring in the top 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia.
