On September 9, 2023, BitMEX introduced quarterly futures for XRP, enabling traders to speculate without owning XRP. The XRPZ25 and XRPU25 contracts have set expiration dates in December 2025 and September 2025, respectively.
BitMEX previously launched XRP perpetual futures in 2020 and added spot trading for XRP in March 2024. The platform now allows XRP as collateral for derivatives trading, enhancing its offerings.
