Alibaba unveils more efficient Qwen3-Next artificial intelligence model

On September 12th, Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen introduced the Qwen3-Next model architecture and its successor, the Qwen3-Next-80B-A3B. This architecture improves efficiency and application accessibility.

The Qwen3-Next series features enhanced training optimization and a multi-token prediction mechanism. Its training costs are now less than 10% of the previous Qwen3-32B model, ensuring a cost-effective inference throughput.
