Nguyen Viet Thang, the General Director of BSR, reported that the company produced 5.2 million tons of products in the first 8 months, achieving total revenue of 93.104 trillion VND and contributing 9.589 trillion VND to state budget, with pre-tax profit exceeding 142% of plan. Revenue from new products reached 344 billion VND, 12 times higher than the previous year, while international business revenue stood at 1.256 trillion VND, a 16% increase. However, BSR faces challenges from falling crude oil prices, high operating capacity impacting equipment reliability, and external factors. To grow, BSR plans to produce 7.6 million tons in 2025 with a total revenue of 140 trillion VND and a budget contribution of 13.936 trillion VND. By 2026, the company aims for safe and stable operation of Dung Quat Refinery, enhancing research for high-value products, and expanding international business to increase revenue from biofuels.
