BNB Chain has confirmed that the BNB Chain Wallet browser extension will officially be deactivated on October 15, 2025. The extension will be removed from the extension store, and users are advised to back up their seed phrases or private keys before uninstalling.
While user funds remain secure, accessing the BNB Chain Wallet after deactivation is at the user’s discretion. It is important for users to select a new wallet for future transactions.
