As of September 16, 2025, SCIC’s investment portfolio reached 209.887 trillion VND with 19 significant investments. Among these, Vietnam Airlines (HVN) is one of the top four companies, along with Vinamilk (VNM), Sabeco (SAB), and MB Bank (MBB), making up 70.8% of the portfolio. SCIC has invested an additional 7.770 trillion VND into HVN, increasing its ownership stake to 26.7%, valued at 56.092 trillion VND. HVN’s stock price rose 23% since early September, closing at a historic high of 38.250 VND per share. In the first half of 2025, HVN reported revenue of 58.551 trillion VND, with a net profit of 6.442 trillion VND, marking increases of 11% and 19% year-on-year, respectively. SCIC not only invests in HVN but also holds controlling shares in many large corporations, improving their financial conditions. In the first half of 2025, SCIC reported a 48% increase in investment revenue and a net profit of 6.167 trillion VND.
