Recently, the State Securities Commission of Vietnam fined the Wood Processing Joint Stock Company (GDT) a total of 202.5 million VND for two violations in the securities sector. Firstly, the company was fined 65 million VND for not disclosing information within the legal time limit. Secondly, GDT faced a 137.5 million VND fine for violating regulations related to transactions with shareholders and corporate managers, providing loans to shareholders and related parties. Regarding its business situation, in the first six months of 2025, GDT reported revenue of 141.1 billion VND, down 10.3% compared to the same period last year, while net profit reached 31.9 billion VND, up 40.5%. By June 30, 2025, the company’s total assets slightly decreased to 524.5 billion VND, with total liabilities of over 209.5 billion VND, down 8.7% since the beginning of the year. The company’s charter capital is approximately 249.6 billion VND.
