According to a report submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the Dragon Capital-managed group sold a net 3,264,000 MWG shares on September 12, 2025, reducing their ownership percentage to 4.99%. Member funds sold significant amounts, while the Samsung Vietnam Securities Master Investment Trust purchased only 20,000 shares. Earlier, in late July, this group had also sold 1,467,900 shares. Additionally, a senior company executive has reduced their personal shareholding. MWG shares saw a remarkable increase from early April to mid-September, up 71% to 78,000 VND/share. For its business activities, The Gioi Di Dong recorded revenue of VND 73,754.9 billion in the first half of 2025, achieving 66.1% of the annual profit target. The company plans strong expansion for its Bách Hóa Xanh chain with goals of opening 1,000 stores/year starting in 2026 and an IPO planned for 2028.
