Mr. Trịnh Văn Quyết received a certificate of completed civil judgment enforcement

On September 19, Mr. Trịnh Văn Quyết, former Chairman of FLC Group, along with his two sisters, received a certificate confirming the completion of civil judgment enforcement from Hanoi Civil Judgment Enforcement Department. As of mid-August 2025, Mr. Quyết had paid court costs and nearly 9.6 billion VND, totaling over 684 billion VND to the state budget due to unjust profits from stock market manipulation. Although he has compensated 1,783 billion VND to the victims, his family has not yet applied for a certificate for this amount. This certificate is essential for potential sentence reduction in the future. Around the same time, over 11,800 enforcement requests from the fraud case at FLC were received, with nearly 1,500 billion VND to be processed. Mr. Quyết’s sentence was reduced from 21 years to 7 years in a appellate court. His sisters also received sentence reductions or were released immediately. They were convicted of manipulating the stock market and committed various fraudulent acts.
