Shibarium updates on security incident: Bridge operations restricted to limit attacker’s BONE token staking

On September 21st, Shibarium’s cross-chain bridge was attacked, leading to the theft of approximately 2.4 million USD in ETH and SHIB. In response, several security measures have been introduced.

Key measures involve restricting unauthorized transactions, upgrading staking controls, rotating validator signers, and enhancing real-time monitoring to combat further attacks on BONE tokens.
