875 Trillion VND Investment in Infrastructure: Mega Alliances Share the Historical Expressway Feast, One Company Holds Backlog Amounting to Three Times Its 2024 Revenue

Thanks to the government’s determination to develop infrastructure, the total budget disbursement for public investment in 2025 is raised to 875 trillion VND, up 28% compared to 2024. The goal is to complete 1,188 km of highways by 2025, reaching a total length of 3,000 km nationwide. The period of 2022-2023 witnessed the formation of strong alliances in the infrastructure construction industry, with cooperation between companies like Lizen, Vinaconex, and Deoca. The Lizen-Vinaconex consortium has won several major packages, including the Vung Ang – Bung expressway and a package at Long Thanh airport. Lizen has stood out in leading significant projects like the Van Phong – Nha Trang expressway and the Hung Yen Heritage Road. By September 2025, Lizen has a backlog of nearly 7,300 billion VND, three times its revenue in 2024. This demonstrates the substantial growth and increasing importance of alliances in the infrastructure sector.
