Democrats show support for collaborative market structure legislation

Twelve Democratic senators have announced their collaboration with Republicans for a digital asset market structure bill. This initiative aims to create a framework protecting against illicit finance and addressing the gaps in digital asset regulation.

Despite some Democrats’ reservations, including Elizabeth Warren, Republicans target passing the legislation by 2026 while drafting a different approach from the House’s CLARITY Act, postulating a vote by the end of the month.
