The Dong Nai Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Dowaco) has invited shareholders to vote on two proposals: adjusting the 2025 business plan and the salary for the management board. The results showed both proposals were rejected with 64% votes against, mainly from major shareholder Sonadezi. Dowaco proposed to reduce the revenue target for 2025 to 1.162 trillion VND, while increasing the net profit target to 302 billion VND, but was denied. Despite a slight increase in revenue in the first half of 2025, profit dropped sharply by 40%. The completion rates compared to the plan remain low. Additionally, the proposed salaries for the Chairman and management board members were also not approved, with the Chairman’s salary proposed to be 142 million VND/month. Sonadezi continued to express disagreement with both proposals.
