Overall blockchain revenues saw a significant fall, with Ethereum diminishing by 6% and Solana by 11%. Tron’s notable revenue drop of 37% resulted from a policy change to lower gas fees in a bid to enhance user engagement.
Concurrent with lower revenues, major cryptocurrencies experienced decreased volatility. Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana recorded drops of 26%, 40%, and 16%, respectively, resulting in fewer arbitrage opportunities and lower transaction fee payments.
