Sorare is migrating from Ethereum to Solana to enhance scalability and focus on consumer applications. CEO Nicolas Julia insists this transition is an upgrade, not a replacement, as Sorare aims to move more than 10 sports games by October 2025.
Despite the migration, Julia maintains a bullish outlook on Ethereum, highlighting ongoing support for Ethereum users and commitment to the ecosystem. Sorare will integrate with the Base network, allowing ETH deposits as it transitions.
While the value of Sorare’s NFTs has declined, sales remain steady. The platform continues to explore new high-speed chains but emphasizes Solana’s recent improvements and stability.
