JPMorgan Chase: Recent crypto market decline may be due to native cryptocurrency investors

Between October 10th to 14th, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs observed net outflows of 0.14% and 1.23%, respectively. Analysts noted that native crypto traders experienced a 40% fall in open interest for perpetual contracts.

CME Bitcoin futures faced minimal liquidation despite the market conditions, while CME Ethereum futures indicated significant deleveraging, suggesting a shift in risk appetite primarily driven by native cryptocurrency investors.
