Lam Son Sugar Joint Stock Company (Lasuco) announced that Mr. Nguyen Xuan Lam, Deputy General Director of the company, passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on September 29, 1974, he dedicated his career to Lasuco starting as a technical staff member in 1991. After his studies at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, he worked his way up through several key positions including Engineer, Deputy Head of Technical Department, and Head of Technical Department. Since December 2019, he served as Deputy General Director. Established in 1980 and operating as a joint stock company since 1999, Lasuco is one of the leading enterprises in sugar production and trading in Vietnam. The company has a closed value chain, with its products widely distributed both domestically and internationally, employing over 1,000 personnel, many of whom are engineers and skilled workers. As of October 15, the company’s market capitalization is approximately 860 billion VND.
