NSH Petro’s CEO Dismissed After Arrest for Fraud

On October 20, Nam Song Hau Petroleum Investment Trading Company (NSH Petro) held a shareholders’ meeting and passed a resolution to dismiss CEO Ranjit Prithviraj Thambyrajah due to providing false information about a $103 million loan from Berhero Pty Limited. Thambyrajah, an Australian national, is currently detained for allegedly embezzling approximately $4.93 million from companies in Vietnam. The company also suspended several other executives and appointed Mai Van Huy to manage the company temporarily. This information was disclosed to the Vietnam Stock Exchange.
