India’s Enforcement Directorate freezes 23.85 billion rupees in crypto tied to OctaFX scam

India’s Enforcement Directorate has frozen cryptocurrency assets totaling 23.85 billion rupees connected to the OctaFX scheme, pushing the seized asset total to 26.81 billion rupees.

Pavel Prozorov, the primary suspect in the fraud, was apprehended in Spain as extradition efforts progress. The scam resulted in Indian investors losing 18.75 billion rupees from unauthorized forex trading.
