Vietnam Ocean Shipping Joint Stock Company (Vosco, Stock Code: VOS) has released its consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2025, showing revenue of 849.7 billion VND, down 33% compared to the same period last year. However, net profit soared to 131.6 billion VND, contrasting with a loss of 14 billion VND in Q3/2024. For the first nine months of 2025, the cumulative revenue reached 2.147 trillion VND, down 49% year-on-year, with a net profit dropping 74% to over 88 billion VND. The decline in revenue is primarily attributed to changes in commercial operations, with revenue only reaching 650 billion VND compared to 2.254 trillion VND in the same period last year. The company has also returned several ships and faced increased costs due to ships undergoing prolonged repairs. Additionally, Saigon Maritime Transport (SGS) was fined 92.5 million VND for failing to disclose information.
