In October 2025, DeFi perpetual trading volume has exceeded 1 trillion USD, smashing the previous record of 762 billion USD from August 2025.
Hyperliquid was the major contributor with 317.6 billion USD, followed by Lighter, Aster, and edgeX. The total volume might approach 1.3 trillion USD by the month’s end.
