Among the top 50 largest listed companies in Vietnam, only Vinamilk and ACV pay an average salary above 30 million VND per month. The finance sector, especially banks, leads in salary levels, with Techcombank Securities reporting an average monthly salary of 70.5 million VND, an 8.5% increase compared to the previous year. SSI did not disclose specific figures but reported average payments of about 55 million VND per month. Banks like ACB, Vietinbank, and Vietcombank also show high earnings ranging from 37.4 to 38.1 million VND per month. The real estate and infrastructure services sectors have seen significant income growth post-pandemic. However, average income does not accurately reflect the majority of employees due to high executive salaries inflating these figures. The General Statistics Office reported that the average income nationwide in 2024 was only 7.7 million VND per month.
