Among the 50 largest companies in Vietnam, only Vinamilk and ACV report an average salary above 30 million VND/person/month. The finance sector (banks, securities) leads in salary levels, with Techcombank Securities surprising everyone with an average of 70.5 million VND/person/month. SSI reports around 55 million VND/person/month in compensation. Banks like ACB, Vietinbank, and Vietcombank also pay around 38 million VND/month. Meanwhile, the real estate sector’s salary growth is slower, except for Petrolimex and ACV, which show significant improvement. Average salary figures do not accurately reflect most employees’ earnings as they are skewed by large payouts to executives. The General Statistics Office states the average income of the workforce nationwide is only 7.7 million VND/month.
