Valthos, an AI biodefense startup, launches with 30 million USD backed by OpenAI

Valthos has launched with 30 million USD from OpenAI, Lux Capital, and Founders Fund to develop AI solutions for rapid detection of biological threats.

Led by veterans from Palantir and Google, Valthos aims to decrease response time to biological threats from months to hours, improving overall biodefense capabilities.
